Here are some of the most common questions I'm asked, but please contact me if your question isn't answered here.
I’m willing to travel up to 200 miles for a booking. However, for any distance further than 70 miles I require overnight accommodation, and this will be included in the overall fee.
It usually takes between 45 minutes and one hour to set up. For any special occasion I like to arrive at least 1 hour 30 minutes before start time just to be safe.
I need a floor space of at least 2 x 1.5m and a flat level playing surface with a convenient 240V power supply.
I usually play for either: 2 x 45-minute sets, 2 x 1-hour sets or 3 x 45-minute sets depending on the overall duration of the event.
I’m happy to play out of doors but I’d require shade and cover from potential rain. Also, a flat level playing surface and convenient 240V power supply.
The way in which I compile the running order of songs is to create continual contrast in terms of Key and Tempo. Consequently, I prefer to do this myself. If there are specific songs in my Song List that you would like me to include, please let me know and (within certain limits) and given enough time I will brush them up and include them on the day of your event.
There’s no harm in asking. Possibly it’s a song I know already but it’s not on my list. To learn a new song from scratch takes quite a while. In this instance I’d have to increase my fee.
